Facilities
This wooden shelter is located on the southwest corner of the lake. With the observatory to the north, the playground to the west, the bathrooms to the south, the basketball courts and parking lot to the south east, the walking path and the lake to the east of the shelter, and a grill for the use of those at the shelter, its location is prime for a gathering of any type. Non-motorized watercraft are allowed in the lake as is fishing, so long as the fisher has a fishing license.

- A paved walking path is just east of the shelter and leads around the lake.
- A playground is west of the shelter house.
- Basketball courts are southeast of the shelter house.
